Completion of Barrolka Nodal Compression Facility for Santos

October 2019 – Spiecapag Wasco Joint Venture (SWJV) has completed construction and commissioning of the new Barrolka Nodal Compression Facility for Santos in SW Queensland. The project involved disassembly, relocation, installation and reassembly of a Waukesha / Ariel reciprocating gas compressor skid from Ballera Gas Centre to Barrolka Field Manifold (approx. 85km) where it was installed on steel driven piles along with new balance of plant separator skid, gas powered generator (relocated from another facility in SWQ) fuel gas, piping, supports and E&I equipment. The project featured steel driven piles and precast concrete only meaning no concrete was required to be made at the site. The new facility was commissioned in October 2019.
