Wasco is currently constructing Flowlines in Cooper Basin for Senex Energy.View Project
In June 2014 Wasco was awarded a 12 month contract to construct and test pipelines and associated facilities for Senex Energy. Senex develops and operates oil and gas facilities in Cooper Basin (SA and Qld). The first assignment for Wasco was to mobilise, construct and test twin DN100 oil flowlines at Spitfire (near Growler approx. 100km NW of Moomba, SA). A small crew mobilised to site in early September 2014 to carry out this work. The pipelines are designed, constructed and tested to AS2885 and are API 5L X52 material with 3LPE coating.
A proven team leader and general manager in the oil and gas construction industry. Experience in EPC, EPCM, Construction, Supply and Fabricate as a designer, engineer, project manager and EPC construction company manager.
A very broad knowledge earned through formal study, self teaching, and exposure to real world experiences. He is comfortable working in all areas of the construction and engineering industry, particularly onshore upstream natural gas systems and cross country pipeline development and construction.
Mr Maccagno was first appointed as an Executive Director of WSC on1 June 2004 and subsequently promoted to be the Deputy Managing Director on Jan 1 2007. Mr Maccagno is also the CEO of the Wasco Energy Group of Companies. He is responsible for the overall business and management operations of the WSC Group.
Mr Maccagno attained his bachelor in Business Administration from Tecnico Commerciale Maddalena Adria (RO) Italy in 1982, after which he worked with Socotherm S.R.L, Italy from 1984 to 1987 as a trainee in Production and Project Management. He was appointed as Project Manager for Socotherm S.R.L. in Nigeria from 1987 – 90 and was briefly seconded to Petro-Pipe Industries (M) Sdn Bhd (“PPI”) in 1990 to assist in the setting up of PPI’s coating plant in Kuantan, Malaysia. After serving as Country Manager for Socotherm in Taiwan, he returned to Malaysia in 1993 to be the General Manager of Wasco Coatings Malaysia.
David Hundt has more than twenty five years professional experience with the engineering construction and servicing of Gas Pipelines and Facilities in Eastern Australia.
David has worked as a Business and Project Manager and Director possessing a hands-on management style, with strong knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle and understanding the importance of detailed planning and the adoption and implementation of appropriate project design and construction strategies for successful and effective delivery of Project outcomes and commitments.
